Learn to sew at the library!
Get hands-on experience with the Janome MOD-19 sewing machine! In this beginner class, you’ll learn how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, adjust stitch settings, sew with confidence, and use the machine safely.
This class is a required prerequisite for all beginner, intermediate, and advanced sewing programs at any of our library branches.

Opened in August 1993, the Summerlin Library is located on six-acres of donated land by the Howard Hughes Corporation. This 40,165-square-foot library houses 59,200 volumes and features a 291-seat proscenium theater complete with an orchestra pit and fly loft.
