Reading Room5 short courses will help you get ready for a disaster or emergency.
Being prepared can reduce the fear and anxiety that accompanies disasters. Communities, famiies and individuals should know what to do before, during and after a disaster. People also can reduce the impact of disasters by practicing preparedness.
We encourage you to participate in our preparedness series to learn more about how to get started.
Presented by the Southern Nevada CERT 3V program, an organized team of community volunteers trained in disaster response and preparedness to strengthen community resilience and support first responders and agencies with basic response activities.

After operating out of a storefront since 1987, the Laughlin Library moved into its existing 15,562-square-foot building in April 1994. This beautiful library, which overlooks the community it serves, houses over 25,000 volumes, and includes special collections on the history of Laughlin, gaming, and the Mojave Desert.
