For children in preK-12th grade, this 1-hour workshop is designed to introduce parents/caregivers to the keys of social emotional learning (SEL).
This workshop is designed to introduce parents/caregivers to the keys of social emotional learning (SEL). SEL is beneficial for children of all ages and can help children develop and maintain positive relationships, become lifelong learners, and contribute to a caring society. A SEL activity for parents and children will also be included.
Open and free to the public. Registration is required.

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
