Concert HallCelebrate Black History Month in doo-wop style with Street Corner Renaissance, a group of distinguished gentlemen a cappella singers dedicated to singing the music they love from days gone by!
With infectious energy, humor and delightful harmony the quintet delights audiences with memorable a cappella versions of doo-wop and R&B music.
The quintet is led by NAACP award-winner Maurice Kitchen and joined recently by Bob Henley, touring artist with the legendary Smokey Robinson. They have had the honor of performing with some of the biggest names in music, including Chuck Berry, Kool & the Gang and their childhood idols the Temptations. They even participated in NBC’s The Sing Off in 2014 and were featured on the PBS special, DooWop Generations.

Located in southeast Las Vegas, the Whitney Library opened in June 1994 with notable architectural design by Holmes Sabatini. This 24,500-square-foot library houses 57,500 volumes and features a 198-seat concert hall.
