Researching and preserving your family tree is about more than just pictures and documents.
Some of our most treasured memories are kept on slides, film reels, video and audio tapes. How can we save them for future generations?
The staff at the Las Vegas Family Search Center can help you protect and digitize your family's history, as well as show you how to delve deeper into your family's past.
Free and open to the public. Call 702-507-6021 for more information.

The mining town of Searchlight is located halfway between Las Vegas and Laughlin. The first library opened in 1969 and moved into a joint facility in July 1989. Constructed with funds from the Federal Block Grant, the 1,200-square-foot library houses over 4,600 volumes and shares a building with the Colorado River Food Bank and the Searchlight Museum.
