Kishema “Pendu” Malik is an internationally recognized choreographer, cultural ambassador, and dance educator teaching her signature style Afro Sexy, a fusion of African Diasporic dances, jazz, and burlesque that is sensual, empowering, and joy-filled. A Former Cirque Du Soleil dancer , a founding member of the Choreographer’s Guild and a CAORC Faculty Enrichment Fellow, her company has performed at prestigious events including the NV Ball in Las Vegas and the Equality Ball for the BeyGOOD Foundation (Beyoncé’s foundation). Afro Sexy is a fusion of African Diasporic dances, jazz, and burlesque that is sensual, empowering, and joy-filled class.
This all-levels master class is fun, expressive, and welcoming, offering dancers of all backgrounds a chance to explore rhythm, confidence, and bold performance.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

The West Las Vegas Library opened to the Historic Westside Neighborhood on D Street in 1973 before moving to its current location on Lake Mead Boulevard in January 1989. In addition to offering a 298-seat theater, the African American Special Collection, and a state-of-the-art robot lab, this 38,900-square-foot library houses 27,700 volumes and has become a prominent part of the community.
