Featuring: Yuri Cho (Violin), Yunior Lopez (viola), and Timothy Hoft (piano).
This program opens with two contrasting solo piano works: the Fantasy in D minor, K. 397, a dramatic and improvisatory piece filled with expressive depth, and the Rondo in D major, K. 485, known for its lyrical lines and virtuosic brilliance. Violinist Yuri Cho and violist Yunior Lopez then perform the Duo in G major, K. 423, written during Mozart’s time in Salzburg and admired for its conversational interplay between the instruments. The program concludes with the Violin Sonata in G major, K. 301, a graceful and joyful work composed during Mozart’s early travels to Mannheim and Paris.

In celebration of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s 270th birthday, the Young Artists Orchestra of Las Vegas presents Mozart: Timeless at 270—a five-concert series in partnership with The Library District. This special series honors the enduring genius of one of classical music’s most iconic composers through performances of his symphonies, chamber works, operatic excerpts, and more.
From intimate salon-style concerts and lecture/performances to immersive, interactive experiences, each event offers a fresh lens into Mozart’s world. Audiences will hear beloved works for piano, strings, and clarinet, discover the connections between Mozart’s music and early childhood development, explore his operatic brilliance, and even sit inside the orchestra to witness music-making from the performer’s perspective. Spanning Mozart’s youthful charm to his mature masterpieces, this series invites audiences of all ages to rediscover the beauty, clarity, and timeless spirit of his music.

Opened in August 1993, the Summerlin Library is located on six-acres of donated land by the Howard Hughes Corporation. This 40,165-square-foot library houses 59,200 volumes and features a 291-seat proscenium theater complete with an orchestra pit and fly loft.
