A silent environment to read.
Everyone brings their own book (physical, e-reader, or even an audiobook with headphones) or checks out one from the library and reads quietly.
No Required reading list, book or discussion required.
Optional Socializing after reading for light conversation, but participation is never mandatory.
No stress — just a peaceful space to enjoy reading with others.

The Windmill Library opened in May 2011 in the southwest part of Las Vegas. This 30,693-square-foot, energy efficient location was built using sustainable design and construction practices, houses over 95,700 volumes, and features a 300-seat auditorium. The adjacent Service Center houses the Library District’s administrative offices, support functions, and processing center.
