April is Financial Literacy Month! Learn about basic financial topics through fun and games.
April is Financial Literacy Month! Learn about financial topics--such as saving, spending, sharing, and budgeting--in a way that is both meaningful and fun. We will use games developed by the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation in their Thinking Money for Kids program kit, as well as other activities and crafts, to learn what it takes to be a savvy spender.
This Week's Game is Piggy Bank Theater. We will learn about earning, spending, and saving. This program is for ages 6 to 11.
**Note: Space is limited and tickets are required to enter the event. Tickets are free and are available at the Youth Services Desk 30 minutes prior to the program. You must be present to obtain a ticket and a ticket is good for one person only. Please be on time. No one will be permitted into the program ten minutes after the program's start time, even if they have a ticket. Please call 702.507.3644 for more information.**
