Each month, the Nevada Department of Wildlife will present a different topic! See program description for this month's event.
Stay Safe on the Water: A Boating Skills Workshop for All Ages
Join the Nevada Department of Wildlife boating safety crew to learn some basic boating skills and general water safety tips to keep yourself safe this summer season. Whether you have been boating your whole life or you’re new to boating, there will be good information for every skill level. Where can you go boating? Is a kayak a boat? What do I do if I fall in? What type of life jacket is best? What is the difference between a swim aid and a life jacket? Join the Nevada Department of Wildlife to play water safety games, try on life jackets and, of course, have some fun.
Free and open to the public. Space is limited. For more information, please call 702.507.6107.
