Join us for a six week series on hydroponics for adults. Learn about growing plants in water while growing your own herbs and greens in class. Registration is required and limited.

Tuesdays at 11:30am from 3/5/24 to 4/9/24.

You must register for all six weeks, as this program builds on skills learned each week. Attendence to all programs in the series is highly recommended, and attendance to the first program is required to participate in the rest of the series. This program is for adults only. About the branch

Opened in August 1993, the Summerlin Library is located on six-acres of donated land by the Howard Hughes Corporation. This 40,165-square-foot library houses 59,200 volumes and features a 291-seat proscenium theater complete with an orchestra pit and fly loft.

What makes a sensory sensitive environment unique? The window shades allow some light into the room, so it is not as dark.The sound is lowered, so it is not overwhelming.Tables are set up, so coloring or playing with fidget toys is encouraged.The room doors are open, so it does not feel closed in, and everyone can come and go as desired.Families can bring in food/drinks to eat at the tables.
