About the branch

Located in southeast Las Vegas, the Whitney Library opened in June 1994 with notable architectural design by Holmes Sabatini. This 24,500-square-foot library houses 57,500 volumes and features a 198-seat concert hall.

Clark County Library
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is teaming up with Three Square to provide free hot and healthy meals for seniors 60 or older and their loved ones. The community meals will take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays unless the library is closed for a public holiday. In addition to lunch, participate in activities to stimulate the mind and soul starting at noon. Depending on the day, listen to a lecture, play a game, or watch a film. Meals are on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Come join us on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to have a bite to eat, socialize, and make new friends!
