If you are eligible for Medicare, are assisting Medicare-eligible individuals, or need assistance with the costs of Medicare, please join this free information session with a benefits counselor from the Nevada Medicare Assistance Program (M.A.P.) for helpful and unbiased information.
The benefits counselor will answer your questions, provide an overview of Medicare, and discuss eligibility and options. You will learn about Medicare costs, programs that can assist with those costs, what you need to do to transition from Medicaid to Medicare, and how to detect, prevent and report Medicare abuse, errors and fraud.
Persons currently on Medicare, caregivers and anyone approaching age 65 are especially encouraged to attend.

Originally operating out of a storefront on Brush Street, the West Charleston Library opened in its current location in January 1993. This 38,900-square-foot building is located on the northeast corner of the College of Southern Nevada’s Charleston Campus. This location, which features a Digital Memory Preservation Lab, serves its student population and residents with over 67,000 volumes and features a 276-seat lecture hall.
