Enjoy an afternoon of live music from favorite and familiar movies presented by the Pentagogical Brass Quintet.
The group will present a collection of delightful and carefully curated musical pieces including everything from the West Side Story Medley, Dancing Queen, the Wizard of Oz, and more!
Five local musical educators make up the quintet and include Karen Polak, a retired teacher on trumpet; John Diaz, a retired teacher, also on trumpet; Dr. Jonathan Snyder, a current UNLV music educator, on the French horn; Walt Boenig, longtime Las Vegas musician and teacher on trombone; and Dr. David Haile, a current teacher at a local charter school on bass trombone.

Originally operating out of a storefront on Brush Street, the West Charleston Library opened in its current location in January 1993. This 38,900-square-foot building is located on the northeast corner of the College of Southern Nevada’s Charleston Campus. This location, which features a Digital Memory Preservation Lab, serves its student population and residents with over 67,000 volumes and features a 276-seat lecture hall.
