Meeting RoomSuicide Prevention 101 is a 2.5 hour class taught by the Nevada Office of Suicide Prevention.
The Suicide Prevention 101 Training Program, formerly known as Gatekeeper, focuses on four specific populations: Lifespan (general), Youth, Elderly and Native American. The program can be used in special training environments such as Law Enforcement and Foster Care Agencies. The objectives of this training are to increase one’s knowledge, understanding of suicide, recognize warning signs, identify risk and protective factors, increase willingness and ability to intervene with a person at risk for suicide. This training will provide insight for interacting with survivors and identify referral resources.

Designed by HAS Architects, the Rainbow Library originally opened as a storefront in 1985. In March 1994, the library moved to its present 26,800-square-foot facility. Located northwest in the city, just off I-95, this location serves its active residents with over 70,300 volumes and features an outdoor amphitheater.
