Join us as we make a wool applique pincushion with Miss Vivian! She will walk you through 4 different hand and embroidery stitches as you make this adorable hearts and flowers pincushion, which is great for your own sewing collection or as a gift for a sewer in your life!
Requirements:
- adults only
- must provide own wool applique scissors 2-2.5? blade (NOT embroidery scissors, 8? shears/scissors, or snips) ~ $25 and up
- Notify Mt Charleston library if you have a nut/walnut or wool allergy
- Cannot be allergic to wool

Buried in snow in the winter and cool during the hot days of summer, the Mount Charleston Library is located in Old Town, about 40 miles north of Las Vegas at an elevation of 7,200-feet. Opened in March 1987, the 2,800-square-foot facility houses 5,500 volumes and serves the beautiful community that surrounds it.
