Children and families can enjoy a brief story followed by play with our vast puppet collection.
Families with children of all ages are invited to enjoy a brief song or story followed by hands-on play time with West Las Vegas Library's vast collection of puppets. Children can make up their own stories or coordinate their own puppet show with their friends. This program is free and open to the public, a library card is not required to attend. The West Las Vegas Library opened to the Historic Westside Neighborhood on D Street in 1973 before moving to its current location on Lake Mead Boulevard in January 1989. In addition to offering a 298-seat theater, the African American Special Collection, and a state-of-the-art robot lab, this 38,900-square-foot library houses 27,700 volumes and has become a prominent part of the community.
