Join staff from University of Nevada Extension for a parenting education workshop series designed to teach healthy eating and nutrition to preschool children (ages 3-5 years old) and their parents while developing positive parent-child interaction through reading and cooking together.
Topics Include: Introduction and Safety; Five Food Groups; Cooking with Kids; Introducing Cultural Foods; Feeding and Hunger and Fullness; Picky Eating; and Fruits and Vegetables.
Free and open to the public. Registration is required and begins online on Monday, May 20. Note: Registration is per family, and children must be 3 to 5 years old for a family to register. Families are expected to attend all sessions. Please call 702.507.3644 for more information.
