This parenting workshop promotes family literacy and pre-kindergarten school readiness skills. During this workshop you will learn tips on how to read to children and the benefits of reading, as well as participate in a parent-child book reading and hands-on activity. For families with children ages 3-5.
Free and open to the public, however registration is required. Please call 702.507.6107 for more information. One registration is good for one family.

The 45,555-square-foot, LEED certified gold Centennial Hills Library opened in January 2009 and is built on a seven-acre site in the northwest area of Las Vegas, adjacent to Centennial Hills Park. This bustling library houses nearly 110,000 volumes, features a Homework Help and Homeschool Center, and shares a building with the Library District’s Distribution Center, a storage, and overflow facility.
