Teens ages 12-17 are invited to learn the basics of sewing and become certified on our sewing machines! Registration required.
Free and open to the public. Registration is required and begins Monday, March 17. To register, please call 702.507.3823 or stop by the Teen Zone during open hours. Attendants must be between the ages of 12-17 or in grades 6-12.
Once a teen is sewing certified they are able to sew at any Las Vegas Library District location that has sewing machines. They must present their sewing certification/license to sew. If a teen demonstrates unsafe sewing behaviors they may be asked to retake the certification course or have their license revoked.
The Teen Zone is open Monday - Saturday from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
