Do you like to see the fireworks over the open sky every year? If so, come join us for a fun craft buffet where we will be creating different style firework art using glow in the dark paint, glitter, and glue! This free holiday program is for children of all ages; a library card is not required to attend. Supplies are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. The West Las Vegas Library opened to the Historic Westside Neighborhood on D Street in 1973 before moving to its current location on Lake Mead Boulevard in January 1989. In addition to offering a 298-seat theater, the African American Special Collection, and a state-of-the-art robot lab, this 38,900-square-foot library houses 27,700 volumes and has become a prominent part of the community.
