Free meals are provided in the Youth Services Department for kids and teens ages 6 - 18 every Monday - Thursday from 4-6 p.m. and Friday from 3-5 p.m. while supplies last. Meals at this location are shelf stable and must be eaten in the library. Children must be present to receive meals. Food is provided by Three Square. Designed by HAS Architects, the Rainbow Library originally opened as a storefront in 1985. In March 1994, the library moved to its present 26,800-square-foot facility. Located northwest in the city, just off I-95, this location serves its active residents with over 70,300 volumes and features an outdoor amphitheater.
