DominiQue Christina, award-winning author and slam poetry champion, hosts a discussion on womanhood.
We will be exploring womanness archetypically and through open forum discussion and poetry, will discuss her experience as a survivor of childhood sexual assault and the ways poetry helped her crawl out of the grave.
Free and open to the public. Seating is on first-come, first-served basis and may be limited.

The West Las Vegas Library opened to the Historic Westside Neighborhood on D Street in 1973 before moving to its current location on Lake Mead Boulevard in January 1989. In addition to offering a 298-seat theater, the African American Special Collection, and a state-of-the-art robot lab, this 38,900-square-foot library houses 27,700 volumes and has become a prominent part of the community.
