Join us as we learn some signs and practice our finger spelling. No prior knowledge needed, and all skill levels are welcome!
Have you ever wanted to communicate better with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing members of our community? Or maybe you just want to learn and practice American Sign Language, which is the third most used language in the US*, for fun?
Come join us every Friday to gain vocabulary and practice finger spelling in a fun, welcoming environment. All skill levels are welcome! Each month we will learn some new words, practice our finger-spelling, and try to compose sentences and communicate ideas in ASL. Our staff are still beginners, so we will probably make mistakes - we invite you to come make mistakes with us, so we can all learn together!
The event is free and open to the public. Seating may be limited and is first-come, first-served. For more information, please call 702.872.5585.
