Join the Las Vegas Bonsai Society as they present their perfectly groomed bonsai trees and host a demonstration on the art of Bonsai tree cultivation.
Bonsai trees are a unique and ancient art form. These miniature trees, carefully cultivated and shaped, symbolize harmony, balance, and patience. The art of bonsai can be traced back to ancient China, as early as 700 AD. However, it was in Japan where bonsai cultivation truly flourished. The Japanese refined and perfected the techniques of bonsai tree cultivation, giving birth to the art form as we know it today.
Come be a part of the growing popularity of bonsai trees, with plenty of trees on display, and a showcase of skills! The Las Vegas Bonsai Society provides you with access to a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Experienced members are willing to share their insights and techniques, allowing you to expand your skills and deepen your understanding of bonsai. The knowledge you will obtain will help you keep your bonsai trees healthy and alive in our harsh desert climate. There will be a demo and talk (2-3pm) about how to keep bonsai trees healthy and alive in our harsh desert climate.
