Jr. Master Gardener

Youth will learn about the gardening process through hydroponics.
Young individuals will gain insights into the gardening process through hydroponics.
The children will discover how to sprout plants for the community garden, work towards becoming Junior Master Gardeners, and develop healthy habits before school.

The mining town of Searchlight is located halfway between Las Vegas and Laughlin. The first library opened in 1969 and moved into a joint facility in July 1989. Constructed with funds from the Federal Block Grant, the 1,200-square-foot library houses over 4,600 volumes and shares a building with the Colorado River Food Bank and the Searchlight Museum.
