Science and stories collide in this all-new, interactive STEAM show! Join us on a treasure-hunting adventure deep within the jungle! The audience helps the performer act out the tale, as we use the events in the story to explore several exciting science concepts such as air pressure, energy transfer, physical vs. chemical changes, and more!
Free and open to the public. Intended for children in grades K-5 and their families and caretakers. Attendance counts as a Summer Challenge learning activity. Seating is limited and tickets may be required. For more information, please call the library branch at 702.723.5333.

The growing community of Sandy Valley began in the 1800s as the four mining communities of Kingston, Sandy, Ripley, and Platina. The library, which started as a closet in the old Community Center in 1984, now occupies 1,200-square-feet in the shared Community Center. This unique location houses over 6,200 volumes and serves 1,700 residents.
