Arrlo is a gritty alt-pop-rock duo known for their bold, thought-provoking lyrics, unforgettably infectious hooks, instrumentals, and explosive stage presence.
In a music culture that is overly saturated, Arrlo brings an aspect of music back into the forefront; INTENTION. Fronted by an openly transgender man, Sunni Suede breathes new life into widely shared experiences, from a lens that is desperately needed, yet missing in music & media. Arrlo seeks to send a message about compassion for our fellow humans, whether we understand their struggle or not. They have no religious or political affiliation, other than to promote the message of loving your neighbor, a concept that many people seem to have forgotten.
The band creates a distinct vibe of 90’s nostalgia with a modern edge. This groundbreaking sound has curated a passionate, dedicated fanbase. With this platform, Arrlo has successfully played at Life is Beautiful 2022, one of the country’s largest music festivals.
Arrlo uses pop music’s accessibility to navigate the nuance and shades of grey that muddle up life, guiding the listener through universal ups and downs, regardless of background, and reminding them to approach every word with a compassionate ear. With this empathetic mindset, the band also aims to bring a more human narrative to the discussion of trans issues, in the hopes of changing it from an unnecessarily hot topic to a roundtable conversation of respect. Moving forward, Arrlo will continue to be an unparalleled voice in the music world with community-focused messaging that uplifts any who listens with an open heart.
