Join us the second Friday each month at the Goodsprings Library for Book and a Movie.
Read the book of the month before we meet, join us for a 15-30 minute discussion, then watch a movie. Reading the book is not required in order to attend.
Will the book and movie be the same? Rarely but it could happen.
Will the book and movie be related by theme? Sometimes.
All we know for sure is we will have a book to read, a movie to watch, and time to socialize with our community.
For the 2026 book and movie list, please click here.
Free and open to the public. Seating is limited and is on a first-come, first served basis.
*Book club meets the first Friday of the month in February, August and November.

The Goodsprings Library serves the smallest community in Clark County with only 170 residents and 2,500 volumes but is full of rich history. In 1968, the Goodsprings Library started in the living room of an old mining house owned by the parents of the librarian. In 1970, the library moved into its existing 900-square-foot trailer, less than a mile from the famous Pioneer Saloon and within walking distance of the Goodsprings Community Center and the Goodsprings Elementary Schoolhouse.
